Qatar’s UNESCO-recognised Inland Sea is a fascinating, picturesque tourist location. Largely uninhabited, this natural reserve has its own ecosystem, and features unusual wildlife such as dugongs and turtles. It is also an attraction that features in many of the country’s more adventurous pursuits.
There are a number of Desert Safaris that stop off at Al Udeid, while the mangroves in the north east of Qatar offer kayaking.
There is also fishing, diving and a host of other watersports at a variety of off the beaten track destinations. So whether it’s a zippy dune buggy, the monster bus, dune bashing in a 4x4, or exploring the Inland Sea, our more adventurous experiences will have you wishing you had a few more days in Qatar.
